Nintendo 64 Major League Baseball starring Ken Griffey Jr. Australian Exclusive

This week we have one of the final Australia exclusive N64 PAL releases I own. The game Major League Baseball starring Ken Griffey Jr. – It surprises me that it falls into the exclusive category. I don't even know if back in '98 baseball was really that popular in Australia. Any whoo this was one game that i'll admit I found hard to get into and play. I just don't understand the rules of baseball as it turns out. The key features of this title are that it does have the official licensing of players (not that I really know who they are – sorry baseball fans) and that you can play batting as arcade or classic. Pretty neat! Oh and the camera angles also are very good for an older sports game. Overall it's not for me but I like the fact that it's an exclusive game and very happy to own it. So anyone else like this game? After some research apparently it had a big fan base @Team1UpEm #MajorLeague #MajorLeagueBaseball #Baseball #NintendoCollector #Nintendo #N64 #Nintendo64 #Gamer #GamerGirl #GamerGuy #Collector #retrogamecollecting#retrocollective #retro #Rare #Consoles #gaming #videogames#gamersunite #GamersOfAus#gamersofinstagram #gamersoftheworld #Team1UpEm #RetroGamer #RetroGaming

Aussie Rules Footy for the NES!

In 1992 for the Nintendo Entertainment System developers Beam Software from Melbourne, Australia released the Aussie Rules Footy game. An exclusive to our PAL region (and Australia) the simulation game depicts in third person our Australian Rules Football #AussieRules. It's game play is pretty similar to the rules / moves of the actual real life game. Most of the teams you're able to select are still teams today but I am not sure if at that time there was a few thrown in like Darwin and Canberra. Overall this is a cool game that I am pretty happy with how it still stands up to the test of time. I do love a classic and I think this one has it in spades. Kicking it out of bounds on the full is also pretty funny. The voice over reminds me of my Uncle haha. @Team1UpEm I can't wait to see all the other International posts this week 👌 Remember to swipe to see the video 👉👈 #Team1UpEm #NES #Nintendo #NintendoCollector #RetroGamer #RetroGaming #Gaming #FunFact #GamerGirl #AustralianFootball #Football #Collector

Hyperkin’s Mega RetroN HD!?

As you may or may not know CES went down recently and Hyperkin got a ton of press on their Ultra Gameboy which we covered. Something that went under the radar was this little guy, Mega RetroN HD confirmed by Hyperkin on Facebook with a unknown release date.

They also confirmed that the Mega RetroN HD will not be emulation but pure hardware baby! So that means the sound should be close to, if not spot on. I assume that also means better compatibility.
